Design & Build

Phased over the past few years, the overall goals were to improve on the strong ‘bones’ of the landscape while harmonizing the property with the historic character of the neighborhood. Lawn was replaced with garden beds that are now home to native plants that provide critical elements of habitat for pollinators and beneficial insects. Updates to the property include:

  • a new smart irrigation system

  • rebuild of driveway fence and gates

  • old gravel driveway converted to cobble pavers

  • timber and stone edging

  • flagstone walk

  • converted lawn to low water perennial gardens

  • native plants

Summer 2024

The raised garden beds feature native plants that the pollinators love! The flower beds surrounding the driveway are thriving with beautiful native plants. What a tranquil oasis in the heart of Fort Collins!
